Love
you Salma
I know, I was
not meant for her. But knowing so, I never stopped
myself. I was young, my heart was full of love and
desire. But can you blame me for that. My Salma,
she is the most beautiful women in the world. I was the luckiest
man on earth to be a part of her life. I was in second
year in Dhaka University. I come from a middle class
family and financially my parents were never good. We
had our good and bad time. I meet Salma in Campus
through my best friend Monir. My friend Monir born in a
silver spoon. Rich, dress well and come to University
driving his own car. I went to school and college in
Comilla. I was lucky to have him in the big city.
I get to learn so much last 2/3 years.
From the first
day I saw her, something happen. It simply just
clicked. Even though it was just few minutes but I could
not forget her next few days. I had to see her
again. Well when there is a will, there is always a
way. So, through my best friend Monir, I get to see
Salma again. This time I even talked her for a
while. From that point there is no stop in our
path. We fell in love eventually. First time I
said "I love you" was a day that I would never
forget. Salma loved me too a lot. But those day in
Bangladesh, love was as accepted as today. And here come
our first obstacle. In our fourth years in study,
Salma's parents wanted her to get married. Ohh, I
remember those, sad days. Both of us was depressed and
so many thoughts went through our head. But, we survived
from that. Salma's parents agreed to wait until she
finish honors.
The holly month
of Ramjan comes. I left Dhaka for 3 week to visit my
home in Comilla. Enjoyed the Eid-ul-Fitre with my
family. University resume after Eid vacation. As
usual, I come back to attend my classes. Also very happy
that I will see Salma again. First day, I tried to
find her. And she is no where to found. I went
every possible locations that she might be. I asked all
her friends and my friends, if they know where is she.
Nobody seems to know where is she. I thought may be she is
sick or something and will come to university in next few
days. So I waited. Waited for 2..3...4 days.
She is not coming to classes at all. I got panic.
I don't know what to do. Its so unbelievable that no one
seems to know, where is she.
Finally, a week later, I decided to go to her home and inquire
about her. To make a long story short, I found out that
she is not in Dhaka anymore. She is married now and
living in Australia with her newly wed husband.
How
life works isn't. But how you want me to forget you
salma? I still love you.
