Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh
E-mail :naz@webbangladesh.com

After having our launch we took some rest, and start our journey.  Beside the road there are lots of rodordain trees with flower. We feel great pleasure out of the scenery. It is a hilly area so the road is so jig jag.  When crossing this hilly read all of us got afraid.  We felt so cold while we were going up in the hill. We were watching the beauty of the Tista River and pinching the cold. That was a very beautiful view. So we stopped the jip and snaps some photos and wear a warm cloth just to protect the cold. In Gongtok, it was also cold but it was bearable. But in lachung it is totally unbearable. In the hilly areas cold was just pinching our body.  Our guide Gopal see our condition and tell us that’’ DiDi are you feeling so cold in this area, in lachung and youngtham there temperature goes more down”. Gopal was normal in that cold. Naturally   Gopal was very much finalities in this situation.

We saw them lots of vegetable land in the hillside. Tomato, cabbage etc. Just over the vegetable land hilly people are cultivating Joom tree.

By seeing this hilly vegetable land, it appeared just like painting picture. Every few moment the fog covers the green land, and after that it is covered with the light of sun. Think like the cloud & sunshine playing.

In the way of road we stopped the bus in few minutes for taking tea or coffee. In these cold area by taking tea & coffee, we felt warm and much better. We saw the tribal homes were so clean & furnished and it was made of wood. We also were seeing the various types of unknown hilly flower & different trees. We saw other kinds of masala trees that like labanga, illach etc. Gopal told us that are Masala tree.

In different position there were Army cheek post for only tourist.   Cheek-post man just saw our permission card. I said earlier that to go youmtham it take special permission. Our package tour organization takes the permission. The permission only given the Sikkim Govt. tourism department. Actually Yumgtham is very nearest on the china border. So in the border area security  is very high.

At last we reached Lachung. Then affternoon is coming. We saw all around the nice house that made by wood. We stopped our Jip in front of one of  those house. Guide tells us, we will stay there for this night.  We saw the house name is “HOTEL SILA INN”. We understand it is a Hotel. A gentle lady way out from the house & received us. We meet her & we know she is Mrs.Sila.
