A teen love story

This story goes back to the age of 17. A young fellow with passion in his heart; the whole world is beautiful in his eyes. And it was my first teenage affair.

Saleha and I secretly fell in love.  She was two years younger than me and she used to be the best friend of my sister.  They were living half a mile away from our house.  We secretly fell in love.  It happened all on a sudden. Our relationship lasted over 3 years until the secret disbursed. It seems things did not work out for us as we expected.

15 years later, I am married and leading a happy and peaceful life. But still I can’t forget those beautiful moments that I passed with her. When I think about those days and it gives me a different feelings.  It still seems like yesterday.  I used wait for her on the corner of the road just to see her passing by from the school. Showing her signs of love.  As we came to know each other more closely, we managed to go to the park and relaxed under the shade of the trees, hands tight together and eyes were stuck on each other’s face. I wish I could go back to those lunch and dinner that we had in the cozy Chinese restaurant.  Spending minutes just looking at each other. Than her beautiful touch in my lips was amazing and it was like a dream. And all those poems and notes, I wonder where are they now.

I think, Saleha is now living somewhere in USA, married to an engineer.   I wish her all the happiness.

Well, that was my first teenage love, my good memories.  Just good old days.
