Jatiyo Shaheed Smriti Sangha, is situated 36 km north-west of Dhaka in Saver . The striking 50 meter high memorial to the millions who died in the struggle for independence. The beautifully kept gardens contain a number of grassy platforms which cover the mass graves of some of those slaughtered in the War Libaration. This is a very important place for Bangladeshi and on weekends it gets very crowded.
There's a reasonable restaurant run by Parjatan across the road , and some souvenir stalls.
