Two Amazing Village

Kolakopa & Bandhura, two very beautiful villages wonderfully located outside the city of Dhaka, 40 KM east of the capital 
in Nawabgong Upazila.  One of the oldest and legendary river Isamoti gave these two villages magnificent view. 
 
Kolakopa is long famous for it’s historical buildings. Many gorgeous buildings are still standing tall, though the age of 
these buildings remind everyone the historic past of these region.  One of the oldest building in that area 
“Khelaram-datar-bari”, make one think of the past.  Kalakopa is a must see place for the traveler who love the 
history and past culture of Bangladesh.
 
Bandhura is very famous in the Bangladeshi Christen community.  It is one of the most beautiful village in Bangladesh. 
There is a big church situated here.  The natural scenic view of Bandhura is just eye catching.  If you come to visit 
kalakupa, don’t miss Bandhura.  

Road transport is very good in this part of the Dhaka District.  It takes hour and fifty minutes to get to Nawabgong.  
You can even go in the morning and return by the end of the day.  People of these villages are really nice and 
friendly.  A must see tourist destination.
