  • How did you reach your present position? Please describe specifically? Please describe.
    Ans: I always wanted to live on my own. So, immediately after my MA examination I joined a garment buying office and about five months later I joined Sonali bank. After one year of serving the bank I joined my present position in April 1999. That’s the story, in brief. 
     
  • Do you think it needs very hard labor? If yes, What kind of hard labor?
    Ans: I don’t agree using the term ‘very’. Yes, it takes hard labor. But once you go through the process, on a regular basis, after a while, it does not seem so hard. Concerning the labor, it takes both physical and mental labor.  

  • Please explain your daily routine? Do you maintain this from your childhood?
    Ans: It is not possible for one to continue his daily routine, in the similar manner since his childhood. With the passage of time, situation change and so does the routine.

  • Did you reach your goal, which you dreamed in childhood? If no, please explain what do you want to be?
    Ans:  During my childhood days, I had the fascination to be an airline pilot. I still do cherish that dream that I have failed to realize.  

  • Which quality do you prefer to obtain this goal?
    Ans:
    Concerning quality, the essential ones are well known to all and I don’t want to repeat them. But I think, to obtain ones goal, it takes something more than quality that is the luck factor.

  • Are you happy with your present status? Why?
    Ans:
    So far, I am happy with the present status. Because the job might not pay well but at the end-of-the-day it brings me the required peace of mind.

  • How many hours do you take for your refreshment in a day?
    Ans:
    About four hours.

  • How do you refresh yourself?
    Ans: I watch TV or use the computer.

  • Do you think your work is for development of the country?
    Ans: I am positive that the work I’m doing is for the development of the country.

  • Are you frustrated? If yes, why?
    Ans:
    I am a die-hard optimist. So, putting things in a broader canvas I fail to find any reason to be frustrated.

  • Do you feel lonely sometime? If yes, Why?
    Ans:
    For very personal reasons, it’s natural for people to feel lonely sometime. I also feel the same way too.

  •  How often do you read newspaper, magazine, books etc in a day?
    Ans: Being in the academic arena, I have to spend a large part of the day reading newspaper, books, journals and etc.

  • Do you think money is everything in life? If no, which one do you think?
    Ans:
    In life, I think the relationship between people and nature is more important than money.

  • How much do you save from your income (percentage)?
    Ans:
    Given my present state, I save about 50% of my income.

  • Do you take responsibility for your family?( Economical, mental, physical etc)
    Ans:
    At present, I take only the mental responsibility.

  • For how long do you sleep everyday?
    Ans: I sleep about seven hours a day.

  • Do you want to go abroad? If yes, why?
    Ans: Yes, I would like to go abroad for higher studies.

  • What is your hobby?
    Ans:
    Listening to music, reading books.
  • Do you think living in Bangladesh you are isolated from rest of the world or miss modern facilities?
    Ans:  Nothing comes with unmixed blessing, everything has its merits and demerits. Living in Bangladesh has its merits and demerits as well. Being a LDC, the country lacks many modern facilities, still then, in some places the people to people relationship have existed in its true form.
     
  • Do you feel you are idle? If yes, why?
    Ans: I just don’t feel but I’m sure that I’m idle because I don’t do the things that are necessary for my own development and the development of my career.

  • Have you any superstition or prejudice? If yes, please explain on what basis?
    Ans:
    I have prejudices about some foods and some superstitions about other things as well.

  • Which human character is most important for you? Do you have any of them?
    Ans:
    Love, in both the narrower sense and also in the broader sense is the most important human quality. Love spread for a broader purpose is heavenly but love for a narrower purpose is what we call blindness.
        
  • Do you feel monotonous in your profession? If yes, why?
    Ans: Not yet.

  • Do you think you are somebody special from others? If yes, why?
    Ans:
    Everybody believes he is special than the others. It is inborn in human nature that gives us our distinct individuality.
