Tropa Majumdar

  • How did you reach your present position? Please describe specifically?
Ans: By hard work, sincerity and honesty.

  • Do you think it needs very hard labor? If yes, What kind of hard labor?
Ans:I do think that it is a matter of hard labor but I don’t believe its very hard. If one can set his/her priorities first and then work accordingly, its rather simple than hard.

  • Please explain your daily routine? Do you maintain this from your childhood?
Ans: To be very frank, I never maintained a very rigid routine ever in my life. And I hate to do so. From childhood what I basically knew and wanted to follow that  I have to fulfil my certain responsibilities properly within a certain period of time.

  • Did you reach your goal, which you dreamed in childhood? If no, please explain what do you want to be?
Ans:  This is also very interesting that, I really didn’t have any specific dream regarding my studies. I just wanted to pass the exams with minimum dignity. This little desire brought me here. So definitely I’m happy with my present status.

  • Which quality do you prefer to obtain this goal?
Ans: Compete with oneself but not with others.

  • Are you happy with your present status? Why?
Ans: Already given the answer in your 4th question.

  • How many hours do you take for your refreshment in a day?
Ans:Don’t have any particular time. Or any particular type of refreshment. I sometimes just lie down or watch TV or gossip with a friend.

  • How do you refresh yourself?
    Ans: Already answered.

  • Do you think your work is for development of the country?
Ans:Not exactly. But I want to fulfil all my responsibilities. And I do believe that if everybody does his/her duties, the country will be benefited automatically.

  • Are you frustrated? If yes, why?
    Ans:
I would rather use the word ‘anxious’ instead of ‘frustrated’. As a citizen of Bangladesh with others I’m also very much anxious and worried about the political situation of Bangladesh, decadence of social values, terrorism so and so.

  • Do you feel lonely sometime? If yes, Why?
Ans: Who is not lonely? To some extent we all are lonely. But I have my very special parents and some very good and special friends who do not give me much scope to feel lonely. And of course my work doesn’t permit me to feel so.

  •  How often do you read newspaper, magazine, books etc in a day?
Ans: I always just go through (won’t say read) 4-5 newspapers every morning. Don’t really read magazines much. Always go to bed with a book.

  • Do you think money is everything in life? If no, which one do you think?
Ans: Money is not everything but something. ‘Relationship’ is the most cherished thing in life. If you are not sick, if you are happy with your relations, if you can practice a peaceful life  little money can do. But this is also true that without any money nothing can be achieved or only money can achieve nothing.

  • How much do you save from your income (percentage)?
    Ans:
I’m not a very calculative person and I don’t want to be. My savings and my spending are totally dependent on my wish. If I like to spend the money I do so. And if I don’t it is automatically saved.

  • Do you take responsibility for your family?( Economical, mental, physical etc)
    Ans:
As I belong to my family, I share everything and always try to do my responsibilities.

  • For how long do you sleep everyday?
    Ans:6-7 hours at night.

  • Do you want to go abroad? If yes, why?
    Ans:
No. I’m very much home sick.

  • What is your hobby?
    Ans:
To collect all the letters my friends and relatives write to me.
  • Do you think living in Bangladesh you are isolated from rest of the world or miss modern facilities?
    Ans:
    Not at all.

  • Do you feel you are idle? If yes, why?
Ans: Yes. Yes. And yes. I waste a lot of my time and capability by doing nothing. I know that if I was not lazy, I could do many more meaningful things.

  • Have you any superstition or prejudice? If yes, please explain on what basis?
    Ans:
Yes I’m superstitious on some silly matters and I hate to be like that. Superstition has no basis at all except lack of courage.

  • Which human character is most important for you? Do you have any of them?
Ans: Honesty. I at least try to be honest first.

  • Do you feel monotonous in your profession? If yes, why?
Ans: Not really. But everybody must take a break after working for a long period. Otherwise it will become monotonous.

  • Do you think you are somebody special from others? If yes, why?
Ans: A person is always different from another person. From that point of view I’m positively different than special.
