filmy crisis
The entire film
industry is now at a loss as most of its releases have failed to
do business in recent have failed to do business in recent days.
As the quality of the local films kept deteriorating so did the
number of cine-goers. The film products of the country have
suffered a huge loss due to this changing attitude of the viewers.
“But I
don’t blame the audience for it,” said a film critic.” They
want to watch some good movies. Since our film industry failed to
produce any good ones they turned their back on them. It’s
inevitable,” he said.

Islam, the famous director of the country, however blamed some
directors for this.” There are some people who just desecrated
the whole film industry,” said Chashi while talking it this
correspondent. “There intention is not to make good cinema but
to make some money”, Chashi added further. Chashi who is now
worki8ng on a film on our folk culture believes that it is the
making of some good film that can change the whole atmosphere of
our local cinema.
“Some has to
take the responsibility. My last film which was based on our
liberation war didn’t do good but that couldn’t deter me from
making good films”, Chashi added. Meanwhile it is learnt that
Aziz Md Bhi, being disappointed with the continued failure of this
productions in the box office, has finally decided to leave THE
INDUSTRY.
