What is package program?

To days in the satellite era package program is the very popular concept in the Perspectives of Bangladesh. In terms of every satellite channels or government channel Doesn’t have ability to develop any program by the demand of spectators.

Infrastractural problem, lack of technical hand, &lack of skilled manpower are main causes to make a good program. In spite of this sorts of lacking the package Program maker are trying to upgrade the quality of the package program. There is a relax facility to submit the program for the different channel so, reliable, interested, solvent people can spend their money & take initiative to develop package program & they just Sell it down to the different channel. Generally this process is called package program.

The package program concept introduces in Bangladesh in the year 1993.

Pre-requisites of making package program: 

• At first you will have to specify what kind of program you want to make.

• For whom it will made (who are your target group)

• Making script for the program

• Develop program planning

• Making Budget of the program

(One thing you always keep in mind that whatever the plan is if you are not monetarily solvent then it is not possible to implement the program)

Money supply:

           You need at least three (3) lakhs Taka to make one hour program. You can arrange in this money in 2 ways-

• Personal Financing:  If you are financially sound & solvent you can invest money for making profit. On the other hand any one your friend who can finance you for making the package program. Or, you can find any one your relatives, friend&go for the agreement incase of earning profit from that particular program.
  

• From sponsor:  collection of sponsorship is very crucial factor because of From the earning money of sponsorship you can bear all sorts of expenditure. In this regard you will send proposal letter in different organization & different advertisement firm with all kind of program information. You will start in this process at least two (2) months before for making the program. In case of collection advertisement/sponsor you will Have to have a very good jack.
  

• Producer appointment:  you can give appointment by knowing him   self or her self.
  

• Director selection:  In case of director selection you should conscious about his experience in the field of making package program. A good program is mostly depends on the skill & experience of the directors.
  

• Production Manager Appointment: A production manager is responsible for all the activities of production house. So, select a Very reliable & energetic production Manager.
  

• Coordination with the production house: In case of making package program you need camera, Light, mike, editing panel etc.& also need technical support so, you must coordinate with the production house. Production house rent you this equipment for hourly basis & shifting basis. You observe the market & negotiation for any production house, which delivered you facilities with nominal charge.  

Seat designer:
Normally a seat designer is assigned for the selection of location & other surroundings area, which creates attractiveness of the program. So, a seat designer has a very important role in making package program.

Division of the program: 
The in door & 0out door-working schedule must be ascertain. And it must be certain that how much time will take for the editing

Assistant production officer: 
Assistant production officer can coordinate with the actor & actress, director, etc. Out door shooting, transportation, accommodation, consumption expenditure each & every thing maintain by the assistant production officer.

Agreement letter: 
Agreement letter must do every thing related to the package program.

Contact with the different channel:  
After the completion of the program you must send the duplicate copy towards the different channel. if they choose the program then it will decide for the price of the program and other conditions.
