Q. What
should I buy as a valentine gift for my girlfriend? We
are in a serious relationship for last nine months and
everything is great with us. This is the first
valentine together so I want to get something is
unique and something she will like. I was thinking of
giving her a poem I wrote about her on a piece of paper
with some roses as well... but is that enough? I do not
want to give jewelry or anything costing a lot of
money and I don't feel that's what valentine's day is
for. I think its more for the expressing love for
your partner. What if she does not like this kind of
gift, do you think I should ask her what she wants? Need
your advice....
A.
I
am sure you already know what kind of girl she is. Does
she value material more than feelings? What do you know
about her after dating last nine months?
I
think something that is unique and comes from your heart is better than already packaged store-bought gift.
Too much stuff is not good. Do something that you know
she enjoys, gets into, things she might appreciate. Once
again, use the clues you've learned about her to tell
you what's the right gift. The poem sounds great, and
some roses with it makes wonderful gift for someone you
love. Good luck, I think you will do fine.
