Dr.
Aziza is a specialist, dedicated to the art and science of Children,
Preventive and Community Dentistry. Her practice is limited to
general dental treatment for the Children and Female patients only.
She works in the clinic with her Husband Dr. M E Haq along with Dr.
Beauty and Dr. Munni, the two young but well trained Doctors. She
graduated from Dhaka Dental College in 1969 and has obtained DDPH,
RCS, from
the Royal College of Surgeons of England after attending a
Post-Graduate course on Preventive & Community Dentistry at the
Institute of Dental Surgery (Eastman Dental Hospital), London.
She
is working at the Dhaka Dental College and Hospital for about 25
years in different teaching posts. She is also a guest teacher of
Children Preventive, Community Dentistry at the City Dental College
and at the University Dental College, Dhaka.
Dr.
Aziza is a Life-member and Ex-President of the Bangladesh Dental
Society.
She
is the co-author of a book in Bengali on Oral health Education for
general readers. A good number of scientific articles have also been
published in the renowned National and International Journals.
She
has attended a large number of workshop and seminars on Oral Health
Education.
Her
husband, Dr. Md. Emadul Haq BDS, D.Orth, RCS (England), is a
Professor of Orthodontics, at the Dhaka Dental College &
Hospital. They are blessed with two sons and a daughter. The eldest
son, Dr Ashique is a medical doctor and the daughter, Shaila is a
clinical dental student. Youngest son, Asif is a school student.
