Policy Statement of your company?

with excellent quality Products. Comply with all regulations related
to business. Provide employees with good environmental, health and
safety standards in the work place and its environmental impact to
minimum. Develop more than adequate fire safety measures. Comply and
maintain social accountability standards. Be an equal opportunity

Q. How can you ensure your
employee’s Medical facilities?
N.R : In order to provide basic medical facilities
to all employees in line with our E.H & S policy a medical center
has been set up in our premises. It has made arrangement with Urban
Family Health Partnership (UFHP) who will provide medical services to
our employee’s once/twice a week at the medical center.
UFHP
(Urban Family health Programme) will provide basic health services to
the employees and will also provide consultation on health awareness
and family planning. Contraceptives will also be made available by
UFHP free of cost. The consultancy fee will be borne by the company.

What are the procedures for employment?

: Advertisement for employment must be placed in a
populous area or newspaper as felt proper by the management. The
advertisement must specify the position and required experience and
qualification of the job. Appropriate written and practical test will
be taken to select the eligibility of the candidate. Some documents
must be provided at the time of application. The prospective candidate
will undergo a physical and mental health check by a qualified
practitioner and the employment will be subject to positive results
from the test. The prospective employee must be provided with an
official appointment letter, which must be endorsed by the candidate
prior to commencement of work in the company.

please tell something about Social Accountability-8000 policy of your
company?

: Comply and maintain SA 8000 (Social
Accountability) standards and with the minimum legal requirement of
the land applicable in case of employment and there related
activities.Remain committed to be an equal opportunity employer for

support continuous improvement in SA 8000 standards. Communicate SA
8000 activity to the concerned stakeholders and review progress of
standards implementation on regular basis. Hop Lun shall remain
committed to E.H & S activities, which meet the minimum SA 8000
standards and where safety is paramount, and workers have to access to
a healthy and clean work environment with basic health care facilities
and pure drinking water. Give due regards to the conservation of
physical environment and motivate its suppliers to comply with SA 8000
standards overtime.

What are the security instructions you follow for the betterment of
your employee and as well as the company?

: Each employee has to display identity card
provided by the company while entering in to the factory gate.
Management reserves the right to disallow entry of any employee
without the identity card.

Each
employee has to wear identity card during the working hours.

No
one is allowed to take out any goods owned by the company without
proper authorization by the management.

Employees
are not allowed to go out of the factory during working hours or
enter the factory after working hours without proper authorization
by the management.

Management
reserves the right to search female employee by female security
personnel. Similarly male employees are subject to be searched by
female security guards.

Outsiders
are not allowed to enter in to the office except permission from
authority.
